One of the best parts about my job is the way I get to engage the surrounding community as a faculty director of the Maine Model United Nations Conference. Each year, I train a group of university students to plan, prepare, and host a 3-day all inclusive model United Nations attended by several hundred high school students from throughout Maine (and other parts of New England). It is an extraordinarily rewarding experience.
