2023/24 Victorian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat Championships

The 2023/24 Victorian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat State Titles are to be hosted by the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club on the 24th and 25th February 2024. Providing we get sufficient starters we will concurrently hold the National and Victorian Titles at the same time.

The intention is to create an inclusive mixed fleet event within the Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat fleet as week as a non-spinnaker category. For more details goto www.Victorian Trailable Yacht Division

     ADVANCE NOTICE

To be conductedon the waters of the Gippsland Lakes

Saturday 24th amd Sunday 25th of February 2024

This notice is intended to give individuals, clubs, and associations as much

time as possible to schedule, plan and prepare for the season 2023/24

Victorian Trailable Yacht and Sports Boat state Titles.  Information contained

within is non-binding and subject to change.

- The event is open to all boats complying with the definition of a "Trailable Boat" in                           -Paynesville has ample car parking, Jetty Space, and boat ramps to accommodate all sizes

-The 2019 CBH handicap system applies.  Where boats do not have a listed                                         -Berthing of boats is permitted, as well as many accommodation options being available

Division 2               CBH 0.700 - 0.769                                                                                                            -The event has been scheduled 2 weeks prior to the Marlay Point Overnight Race to give

Division 3               CBH lower than 0,700                                                                                                         people the option of storing boats locally in between events,  Further information about

Please note the re-introduction of the Non-Spinnaker division                                                                  - Formal Notice of Race will be published during 2023/24 sailing season.
