Raised in a small village in Switzerland, I came to the United States in 2017 to attend Berry College. A double major in Sports Administration and Creative Writing, in hindsight it seems an evidence that I would end up finding my passion in sports journalism.
Having joined my college paper my junior year, I knew I wanted to find a professional newspaper to join following my graduation. I did so in Tennessee, becoming the sports writer for the Loudon County News-Herald, a small community paper just outside of Knoxville.
After two years on the job, the time felt right for me to move on to bigger and better things, leading me to Chicago and Northwestern’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. There I refined my craft and learned from several experts in the field to make me the well-rounded sports journalist I am today.
I graduated with my Master's Degree in September 2024 and relocated to Birmingham, AL, soon after. I am now looking to continue my journey in this exciting field, eager to put everything I have learned to use.
