The work conveys the profound message: "If there is no experience, there is no feeling. If there is no pain, there is no way to understand. In the middle of the night, even breathing hurts, as the body and soul transition to another world."
Through this interactive installation, I invite the audience to engage with the visceral sensations of pain and transformation, reflecting on how these experiences influence our perception of reality. The combination of traditional materials and modern technology creates a dialogue between the physical and virtual realms, encouraging a deeper connection to the themes of suffering and empathy.

In this collaborative project, our group chose “steak” as the focal point of our performance, utilizing it to evoke a surreal dimension in human relationships. The meticulously crafted plastic steaks symbolize the falsehoods that often permeate our interactions, highlighting a world where everything feels unreal. Through this artistic choice, we sought to express the pervasive feelings of inauthenticity that can arise in contemporary life.
In my role as a supporting team member, I worked behind the scenes, primarily using Reaper software to control sound and music, ensuring that the auditory experience matched the atmosphere and emotional tone of each scene. Additionally, I utilized TouchDesigner to connect live music with projectors, creating an interactive experience that engaged the audience on multiple sensory levels.
This project has been immensely rewarding, as it expanded my skills in creating interactive devices and utilizing projection technology. Through this course, I gained a deeper understanding of surrealism and its application in art. The experience allowed me to explore various software and hardware tools, including TouchDesigner, Geophone, Mixer, and Contact Mic, enriching my artistic practice and technical proficiency.
