I am basically a physics post graduate joined the Centre for Advanced Materials Research (CAMRIE) at IISER TVM for my Ph.D. and my work focuses more on the aspects of chemical physics and physical chemistry.
From the physicist point of view, I was always fascinated by the quantum confinement effects in semiconductor, and their size and shape dependent optical properties. This interest took me to the world of semiconductor synthesis in the size regime below their Bohr exciton radius and indulged me in the field of nano-photonics.
I works in the interdisciplinary areas of physics and chemistry particularly on single-particle spectroscopy. I'm interested in the study of time-resolved charge carrier dynamics of quantum dots in the ensemble and single particle-level using various spectroscopic techniques.
