This Privacy Policy describes how TimeZone Meet ("the Extension") handles user information. We believe in total transparency and user privacy.
TimeZone Meet is designed to work entirely within your local browser environment.
Website Content: The Extension scans the text of web pages you visit solely to identify time-related strings (e.g., "10:00 AM PST") for the purpose of local time conversion. This data is processed in real-time and is never saved, logged, or transmitted to any external servers.
User Settings: Any information you provide, such as your "Team Member" list and preferred timezones, is stored locally on your device using the chrome.storage API.
We do not use external databases or cloud storage. All configuration data remains on your local machine and is deleted if you uninstall the extension.
No Sale of Data: We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties.
No Tracking: We do not track your browsing history, your location (IP address), or your identity.
No Third-Party Analytics: We do not use third-party tracking scripts or "telemetry" inside the extension.
Storage: Used to save your team member list locally.
ActiveTab/Host Permissions: Used to detect and highlight time strings on the websites you choose to visit so the conversion tooltip can function.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
