Effective Date: September 2, 2026
SS Tech Wave Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) built the Time Lapse Video Maker app (package name: com.timelapse.app) as a free Android application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how that information is handled.
To create a time-lapse video, the app needs permission to access photos and, on some Android versions, videos that you choose.
Selected photos and videos are processed on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, or finished time-lapse videos to our servers.
If you have an internet connection, the app may send limited technical and usage data through Google Firebase, including:
Firebase Analytics: Information such as app opens, screen views, and in-app actions—for example, creating a time-lapse, opening Settings, sharing the app, or rating the app. This helps us understand how the app is used.
Firebase Crashlytics: Crash and error reports, including device and app version information, to help us identify and fix bugs.
Firebase Cloud Messaging: A device token used to send notifications.
Firebase Remote Config: A version value used to determine whether a newer app version is available.
Google Advertising ID collection is disabled in this app.
With your permission, the app may display notifications, such as announcements or update information.
You can turn notifications off at any time through your Android device settings.
We use the information described above only to:
Create and save time-lapse videos on your device.
Improve the app and fix crashes or technical issues.
Notify you about updates or important messages.
Check whether a newer version of the app is available on Google Play.
We do not sell your personal information.
Technical data described in this Privacy Policy may be processed by Google Firebase on our behalf, subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
If you use the Share App or Rate App features, the Android system share sheet or Google Play may open. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Your photos and exported time-lapse videos remain on your device or in storage locations that you choose.
Technical data collected through Firebase is stored on Google's servers.
We take reasonable steps to limit the information collected and protect it. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The app is not directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us. We will take appropriate steps to delete such information where applicable.
You can:
Deny or revoke photo and notification permissions through your Android device settings.
Stop using the app and uninstall it to remove local app data.
Opt out of personalized advertising at the device level. This app does not use the Google Advertising ID.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how information is handled.
