Pottery Chill Out (Session 2)

Remember Play Doh when you were a kid? What if we told you you're never too old to play with clay? Sign up for our Zoom clay class, where we will make and decorate mugs, phone holders, sculptures—whatever you want, really!—using our hands and objects you can find at home. No experience necessary!

We'll teach you everything you need to know, PLUS we'll mail you all the stuff you'll need! You'll get to keep your final product and, as an added bonus, we'll chat about how working with clay can help you relax and knead-out some of the stress you may be feeling.

Who's the Newbie?: Tock: First Day on the Job

You've landed the job and arrived for your first day. Now what? Join the Harvard Ed Portal for a helpful workshop that will guide you through understanding the written policies and unwritten norms of an organization. We will cover everything from reviewing electronics to meeting co-workers to feeling comfortable asking for help. You will leave this workshop with the tools you need to tackle your first day of work!

Paid Internships: Virtual Summer Youth Employment Program

Application Deadline: Friday, June 11 at 5:00pm


Harvard University is hiring local high school students to work with us virtually this summer. Student employees will work for 25 hours a week for 4 weeks, July 12August 6 and earn $1,400.


This application has four short parts:

You must be at least 16 years old and either attend school in Allston-Brighton or Cambridge, or live in Allston-Brighton or Cambridge to apply.
