A graduate of TWU in Denton with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Education, and currently pursuing his MFA in Theatre Education from MUW in Mississippi. Prior to joining Jackson Middle School, Mr. Dorman served as the Technical Theatre Director at Little Elm High School, where he helped revitalize the theatre program by producing the school's first musical in four years, earning Teacher of the Month, helping lead students to a record nine National Thespian qualifiers, and mentoring the school's first-ever UIL Theatrical Design State qualifier. Outside the classroom, Mr. Dorman enjoys directing, scenic and lighting design, exploring new productions, and continuing his own education as he pursues graduate studies in theatre. He is honored to join the Jackson Middle School community and looks forward to building on the program's tradition of excellence while inspiring the next generation of performers and theatre artists.
