I was born and raised in a small community in Adams County, just outside of Gettysburg, PA. Many of my first jobs were in the tourist industry. I graduated in 1992 from New Oxford High School. During my senior year, I was voted by my classmates as "Most Musical Male."

I met my wife late in the year 1995, and soon moved into Conewago Township with her and her son in 1996. We have been together ever since.

In 2005, we had our first son together. In 2008, we had our second. Together, our family has run FoxWood Run Farm, since 2004, on the 16 acre plot that my wife's parents purchased in the late 1980's. On this land we have raised horses, meat and egg laying chickens, and now raise high quality, integrity based meat and milk goats and a small herd of Irish Dexter cattle.
