Regular and singular perturbation theory, matched asymptotic expansions, homogenization, numerical methods.

Fluid dynamics: interfacial fluid dynamics, thin films, flows in porous media.
Heat transfer: liquid-cooled electronics, geothermal energy harnessing, electromagnetic heating of lossy materials
