Tiler Assistant UK ("the App") is a job-management and estimating tool for self-employed tilers and small trade businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

In short: your data stays on your phone. We never see it.

1. Information We Collect

Tiler Assistant UK does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any external server. We operate no servers and hold no user accounts.

All data stays on your device, including:

• Job details, including any client names, addresses and notes you enter

• Job photos you choose to attach

• Quotes, invoices and job calculations

• Your business details, rates and preferences

• Your Free or Pro status

2. Local Device Storage

The App stores all data locally on your device. This means:

• Your data never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it

• We have no access to it and cannot retrieve it

• Uninstalling the App deletes your data

• Reinstalling starts fresh unless you have made your own backup

Please note that data stored locally is not encrypted by the App. Your device's own screen lock and security settings protect it, so we recommend keeping those enabled.

3. Photos

If you choose to attach photos to a job, the App stores only the local file path to that photo on your device. Photos are not copied to us or uploaded anywhere.

The App requests permission to access your photos only at the point you choose to import one.

4. Sharing Quotes and Invoices

When you send a quote or invoice, the App creates a PDF on your device and passes it to your phone's standard share function. You then choose which app sends it — email, WhatsApp, Messages, or anything else you have installed.

The App does not send anything itself and has no involvement once you have made that choice. From that point, the privacy policy of the app you selected, and of your chosen recipient's service, applies to that document.

You are responsible for any client information contained in documents you choose to share.

5. No Tracking, No Ads

The App does not use:

• Advertising services

• Analytics tools of any kind

• Tracking or attribution SDKs

• Cookies

• Third-party data collection

There is no tracking of your usage whatsoever.

6. Pro Version and Purchases

If you buy the optional Pro upgrade, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on where you downloaded the App.

The App receives only a confirmation that Pro has been unlocked. We never receive or store your card details, billing address, email address, or any other identifying information.

Google's and Apple's own privacy policies cover their handling of your payment.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not share, sell, transfer, upload, or provide your data to any third party, because we never have it in the first place. All information remains on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults running trade jobs. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

9. Your Rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete on your behalf. You control all your data directly on your device, and can remove it at any time by deleting individual jobs or uninstalling the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App develops. Updated versions will be posted at this same link, with a revised date at the top.
