Board is an elected group of Jewish teens who work to help the chapter run properly and thrive

What Is Regional Board?

Regional board is an elected group of Jewish teens who work to help the region run properly and thrive, they plan our regional conventions and are on Regional board for a yearly term. They are re-elected at every SRC.

What is Regional Convention?

RMR has two conventions every year, Spring Regional Convention (SRC) and Fallcon/Autumn Regional Kallah (ARK). Fallcon and ARK switch each year but, there will always be two conventions per year. During conventions, we attend a hotel for two nights, we celebrate Shabbat and Havdalah, attend fun programming, etc.

How can I be on Chapter Board?

To decide who is on Chapter board we have elections. Elections are when the people who want to be a part of chapter board are given the opportunity to run for their desired position.  The N'siah has four minutes to give their speech and one minute to share their platform; a double-sided paper highlighting their goals and ideas for the term. Every other position gets three minutes for their speech but they have the same rules for everything else.

What are the positions for Chapter Board?

N'siah - Chapter president, oversees the rest of Chapter board

S'ganit - Chapter vice president, oversees programming  (VP of programming)

Yehudiah - Chapter JE (Jewish Educator), oversees Judaica (VP of Judaics)

Morah - Chapter mom/mentor, oversees MITs new members (VP of Recruitment) 

Gizborit - Chapter treasurer, oversees fundraising, merch, and funds (VP of Treasury) 

Mazkirah - Chapter media manager, oversees social media, website/calendar and texting (VP of Communications)

Rakazit - Chapter vice Mazkirah, oversees photography and senior/advisor gifts (VP of Senior/Advisor experience)

Mekasherat - Chapter vice Morah, oversees the same responsibilities (Assistant to Morah)
