How About You Get to Know Me?

I am a young artist from the U.S. who has always been interested in anime and animation! When I was young, my great aunt would always buy me those 'How To Draw Anime' books whenever I came over for sleepovers, allowing me to truly begin to develop my own drawings skills - trying to mimic the things I liked growing up.

Starting off on DeviantArt when I was in 6th grade, I remember not having the best grasp on anatomy or color or light... or any art theory in general. And yet, seeing the artists on the front page truly helped motivate me to begin to try harder and, within a few years, I have finally managed to be one of those front page artists - even for just a day.

It's been years since I had deleted that account, but that hasn't stopped me from striving to do better, to be better, and to enjoy the work and characters I create in the process. And, someday, I hope to be able to create a career out of it.
