We pride ourselves in raising well socialized dogs that can adapt into almost any environment.
Here is a general list of the socialization with do with the pups:
ENS from the 3rd to 16th day, once a day. (See the graphics below)
They are held often (Specifically at least two times a day).
Being around louder noises of daily life including, noises of other dogs, cars driving by, and noises played on the tv like thunder.
They are around other dogs and once they are a proper age, they play with not only the adult pugs, but also our other pet dog, a lab.
They are also around cats. Our cat has an amazing temperament. She's not rude, but she makes it clear when the pups are playing too hard which is perfect for them to learn how to play nicely. We also recently adopted a younger cat, who is more spunky and definitely more noisy, allowing the pups to get used to a range of personalities.
We do small obstacles courses once they are an adequate age, teaching them how problem solve.
Although not socialization, we also do the Volhard PAT test at 7 weeks old if requested.
We HEAVILY encourage you to continue researching about socialization for your pup to make sure they are prepared and ready for any situation and environment once they are adults. It takes both us as the breeder and you as the owner to raise a socialized dog!
