KIM "HORANGI" HONG-JIN

Horangi isn't one to linger on the past, especially when he considers the person he was then to be dead and buried. For a time, he ran from his past-—both metaphorically and literally. A man with too many gambling debts and a scarred body that conveyed just what exactly happened when such debts were left unattended. The operator still does not feel as though he wholly owns his own body.

After fleeing his home to join the Republic of Korea Armed Forces, he eventually found value and drive in what he did. He grew and shaped himself into an entirely different being. The man that had once been the prey on the run had become the predator, the tiger on the hunt.

He came to join KorTac some point in 2022 and still specializes in high value targets. He keeps to himself mostly beyond professional interactions or shallow small talk. It's clear from his ever-present mask that he's a man full of coveted secrets and well-guarded (literal and not) scars.
