Hailey Herrin is a passionate educator and theatrical designer who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and Technology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since 2019, Hailey has been inspiring creativity at Corsicana Middle School, where she teaches students the art of theatre and design, fostering a love for the performing arts.
A proud graduate of Corsicana High School in 2014, Hailey believes in the transformative power of theatre to connect students with their own voices and stories. Her teaching philosophy centers around creating an inclusive and engaging environment where students feel safe to express themselves and explore their artistic talents.
Throughout her teaching career, Hailey has led numerous successful productions including Cagebirds, Antigone Now, Legally Blonde, The Girl in the White Pinafore, Grease, BOB: A Life in Five Acts, and Mean Girls, earning recognition for her innovative approaches and commitment to student engagement. She aims to instill confidence in young performers and designers, guiding them to realize their full potential on and off the stage.
Looking ahead, Hailey aspires to continue developing new programs that enrich students' theatrical experiences and to explore innovative ways to integrate technology into the arts. She is excited about the future of theater education and the opportunity to nurture the next generation of creative minds.
