In 1903, the Tiffin Old Girls' Association (TOGA) was set up to build strong relationships between current students and alumnae. Over the decades it fell by the wayside, however it was re-boosted 20 years ago by a dedicated group of alumnae, some of whom still voluntarily dedicate their time to this day. Overseen by a committee of alumnae spanning five decades, the alumnae group works closely with the school hosting reunions and maintaining the alumnae network.
We host reunions every other year (next one being Spring 2019) and publish a newsletter once or twice a year. We also act as a contact point for old girls to make contact and to collect any old school memorabilia which then goes to the school for archiving, which we fund the materials for.
We have members of all ages from all over the world who want to keep up with the progress of Tiffin Girls’ School and keep in touch with each other. It’s amazing to think how many girls have passed through those doors and gone on out into the world over the decades. Membership is free and we have an active Facebook group as well. We are now open to accepting membership from alumnae staff as well.
So if you or someone you know would like information about future reunion events, more details about joining TOGA or if you think TOGA may be able to help you (with your own reunion or tracing a friend), join us!
