My passion for drawing and animation started when I watched my first animated film - Spirited Away. I remember my mom putting it on for me when we were traveling, and I was scared about being at a place that wasn't home. She put it on because she thought it'd distract me - it did. Ever since then, I've grown a strong interest in animations and drawings. I first started doodling with my finger on my iPhone 4 when I was in elementary school, but I wasn't any good - I watched more animated shows with curiosity and a yearning feeling to acquire such skills. After I moved here from China when I was 10, I started drawing more on my iPad with my finger. After 5 years of self-studying, I finally improved and made a lot of art friends online who encouraged me to get better every day. As of now, I am a verified digital content creator on the drawing app I used since middle school - HuaBar, and I was featured on the homepage 3 times. (the app, sadly closed down a couple of years ago, but I'd like to think I carry it with me every time I use a brush). In high school, animation class has helped me to be more comfortable with creating art in general and also experimenting with different forms of art media. The applications I use most to create media at the moment are Procreate, FireAlpaca, and Medibang Paint Pro. Right now, I am most comfortable with 2D drawing, character design, and 2D animations. I plan to further these skills in the future and make works that are of exceptional quality and unique ideas, and achieve a sense of contrast in my works! In the future, I am also hoping to gain experiences at enviornments that foster me to grow and to expand my skillset.
