What is Inclusion? The term inclusion means all students have the right to be respected and appreciated as valuable members to the school community. They are allowed to participate in all school activities and interacting with peers developing friendships. These children will be places into a general education classroom and given adaptations to help them succeed. These adaptations may include a helper, more test time, assistive technology, and rest time. The practice of inclusion helps highly functional students with disabilities and impairments learn to function outside the classroom. It helps also to show other students that the persons disability or impairment doesn't make them less.
