My introduction to digital modeling began in 2021 during my sophmore year at NC State University. Since then, I've continued to develop my skills in 3D modeling using a 3D computer graphics software known as Blender. It initially started out with me learning the basics of modeling to experimenting with the different features Blender possess such as, shaders/geometry nodes, rendering, rigging and animation. Over the years I've come to really enjoy the digital medium with each project allowing me to explore something new. This collection hopes to show that process of discovery and improvement with each project.
Animation has always been something I've known about, but didn't start getting into until freshman year of college, in 2020. For my first animation I used an application known as Adobe After Effects, and since then I've moved on to experiment using other applications (ex. Procreate, Blender, Maya) and mediums to produce animations. I have tried my hand in both animating in 2D and 3D, with some projects being a mix between the two. Out of the all the collections I'd say animation would be the category I've experimented with the most, with each project I have dealt with being very different every time.

Game Engines were first introduced to me back in 2021, specifically Unity and Unreal Engine. I have experienced using both engines for different projects. Through Unity I got my first experience with coding (C#) and with Unreal I learned to use nodes. Additionally, I was able to get aquatinted with how to manage my assets and workflow due to the nature of the projects (often involving much planning and resources). Through this collection I hope to showcase my creation process when working with game engines.
Illustrating art is something I've always done since childhood. Naturally, as I grew up my illustrations evolved with me. In my earlier years I mainly stuck with traditional mediums like pencils, markers, paints, pastels and so on. In high school, I was introduced to digital media, namely Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. However, I didn't really get into it until my first semester in college. Afterwards, I started utilizing apps like Illustrator on my own time. As I got better I moved on to experiment with a couple different applications before landing with Procreate, which I currently frequently use.
In terms of art style, my illustrations can vary quite a bit. My style can change according to the wanted aesthetic of a particular project or simply personal preference. Generally, I would say I lean towards more colorful compositions, often with a cartoonish style. This collection sets to display my range as well as revealing the process behind some of the projects.
