My name is Tiew, and I'd love to introduce myself properly.
I'm originally from Thailand. I grew up in Lampang, Northern Thailand, learning to cook beside my mum's noodle shop. From childhood, I spent my days chopping chilies, preparing ingredients, and watching her cook bowl after bowl of perfect noodles and Thai dishes. That little shop is where my love for cooking truly began.
Before moving to the UK, I built a career in Thailand's hotel and hospitality industry - Sales & Marketing, banquet sales, catering, and working closely with chefs in professional kitchen environments. But the cooking that shaped me most? That was always my mum's kitchen.
After moving to Southam in 2021, I spent a few years working as an Early Years Practitioner nurturing little ones by day, and cooking Thai food for friends and family by occasion. It was their encouragement, and my deep love for authentic Thai food, that inspired me to finally share my cooking with the wider community.
And so, Tiew's Thai Table was born. 🌿
I cook just as I do for my own family, fresh, full of flavour, and made with genuine passion. Every meal is prepared in small batches to ensure quality, authenticity, and the true taste of Thailand. My recipes come straight from my mum's kitchen in Lampang, her flavours, her heart, her legacy.

Thank you for supporting our small family business and allowing us to share a little taste of Thailand with Warwickshire.
From our family to yours!
Meet Gao — The Quiet Helper Behind the Scenes!
Many people know me as the face behind Tiew's Thai Table, but every small business needs a great team behind it and that's where my son, Gao, comes in.
He's very shy and usually prefers to stay behind the scenes, but he plays an important role in helping me prepare for orders and private dining experiences.
🍚 He helps make sure the jasmine rice is perfectly cooked and fluffy.
🧹 He also helps with cleaning, setting up the dining room, and preparing everything before our guests arrive.
Many people see the finished dishes on the table, but few see the work that happens behind the scenes. Seeing Gao help reminds me of my own childhood growing up around my mum's noodle shop in Lampang, where everyone in the family would lend a hand.
Tiew's Thai Table may have my name on the sign, but it is truly a family journey. ❤️
