TickOut operates using a decentralized data model.
A. Local Storage
User study history, mock results, and streak data are stored locally on your device using SQLite/Room database architecture.
B. Processing Basis
Data is processed solely to provide core app functionality requested by the user.
C. Encrypted Local Database
The database structure is designed to reduce unauthorized local tampering.
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS & SENSORY USAGE
Permissions are requested only when necessary and may be revoked anytime via device settings.
A. Notifications
Used for scheduled study reminders and routine alerts.
B. Exact Alarm Permission
Required for accurate timed study sessions.
C. Haptic Feedback
Provides tactile confirmation during quiz interactions and can be disabled in settings.
3. DATA SHARING & THIRD-PARTY TRACKING
A. Authentication & Payments TickOut uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to manage user accounts. This requires collecting your basic profile information (like email) to secure your data and sync your progress. Payments are processed securely via Google Play Billing.
B. No Data Selling TickOut does not sell or trade user data with advertisers, coaching centers, or any other third parties.
C. Analytics
Anonymous aggregated crash reports via Google Play Console may be used strictly for debugging and stability improvements.
4. COOKIES & LOCAL CACHING
The App uses local storage (SharedPreferences) to save themes, sound settings, and UI preferences. This data remains only on your device.
5. USER RIGHTS (ACCESS & DELETION)
Because data resides locally, users maintain full control.
A. Full Deletion
Uninstalling the App or using the Nuclear Reset option permanently deletes all stored data.
B. Portability
Local backup/export functionality is under development.
6.Data Collection and Usage
Email Address Collection: When you register or authenticate an account within the TickOut app, we collect your Email Address. This information is strictly used to create your profile, secure your account, synchronize your exam preparation progress across devices, and communicate essential service updates (e.g., password recovery or subscription changes).
Data Protection & Privacy: We will never sell, rent, or distribute your email address to commercial third parties. Your data is encrypted in transit and securely stored.
Account Deletion: You retain full control over your data. Upon requesting an account deletion from within the app settings, your email address and all associated study progress data will be permanently wiped from our secure servers.
7. POLICY UPDATES
This policy is effective as of April 2026. Significant changes will be communicated through update logs in the Play Store listing.

By installing, accessing, or using the TickOut mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the App" or "the Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("the User") and the developers of TickOut ("the Provider").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App.
2. USER ELIGIBILITY
The Service is intended for users aged 13 years or older. Users under the age of 18 should use the App only under parental or guardian supervision.

A. Independent Platform
TickOut is a privately developed, independent educational software platform.
B. No Governmental Affiliation
TickOut is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by:

or any governmental authority or public regulatory body.
All references are used strictly for informational and descriptive purposes only.
C. Source Attribution
Previous Year Questions (PYQs) and related descriptions are sourced from publicly available historical examination papers. TickOut functions solely as a digital practice and educational aggregation tool.
4. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE DISCLAIMER
TickOut is intended solely as a study aid and practice platform.
The Provider does not guarantee examination success, rank improvement, job selection, or examination outcomes resulting from use of the App.
5. SCOPE OF THE SERVICE & USER LICENSE
TickOut provides a digital interface for competitive exam practice, performance analytics, and study time management.
A. Limited License
You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.
B. Device Responsibility
You are responsible for any mobile device, internet charges, or network fees incurred while using the Service.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
A. TickOut Intellectual Property
The App’s source code, UI/UX design, TickOut branding, Mission Profile system, and proprietary routine-flow logic are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
B. Third-Party Intellectual Property
All trademarks, examination names, board names, and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for descriptive reference.
C. User-Generated Data
Progress records, mock test scores, and routines created within the App remain private to the user, while the underlying software structure remains property of the Service.
7. CONTENT ACCURACY DISCLAIMER
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, TickOut does not guarantee that questions, answers, explanations, analytics, or study materials are free from errors or omissions.
8. EDUCATIONAL CONTENT SOURCES & COPYRIGHT NOTICE
TickOut provides independently formatted practice questions derived from:
Publicly available examination papers
Educational syllabus frameworks
Concept-based academic references
Government examination questions are reproduced under educational fair practice for reference and preparation purposes only.
TickOut does not distribute official textbooks, scanned materials, or proprietary examination databases.
NCERT & Educational Board Notice
References to NCERT and Maharashtra State Board (Balbharati) materials are used strictly for syllabus alignment. Questions are independently adapted or reformatted and do not reproduce textbook content verbatim.
Examination Conducting Bodies
References to organizations such as MPSC, TCS, or similar bodies are descriptive only and do not imply partnership, authorization, or endorsement.
9. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Users are strictly prohibited from:
A. Extracting, scraping, or redistributing the App’s question database.
B. Using automated bots, scripts, or spiders.
C. Reverse engineering or decompiling the App.
D. Attempting to bypass security systems or performance tracking protections.
10. MODIFICATION & AVAILABILITY
The Provider reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or dataset at any time without prior notice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider is not liable for loss of study data caused by device failure, app deletion, or maintenance updates.
11. TERMINATION
The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if a user violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use or inability to use the App.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra.
15.User Accounts and Registration
Account Requirements: To access certain features, including saved Mock Tests, PYQ revisions, and Premium services, you are required to register using a valid Email Address.
User Responsibility: You agree to provide a true and active email address and are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. TickOut reserves the right to suspend any account found to be engaging in unauthorized sharing or abusive behavior. We will use your registered email address as the primary method of communication regarding your account status or app-breaking data changes.
