Frequently asked questions
How do I add a task?
Type it in the bar at the bottom of the screen, pick a due date and a priority, and tap +. A new zombie rises from the ground.
How do I complete a task?
In the Horde view, tap the zombie or its name to shoot it. In the Board view, swipe the task to the right or drag it to the Done column.
I killed the wrong task. Can I undo it?
Yes. Tap "Revive" on the message that appears right after the kill. You can also open any completed task and revive it later.
What's the difference between killing and deleting a task?
Killing a task marks it as done and keeps it in your Done list. Deleting a task removes it for good, with no history.
How do I reschedule a task?
In the Board or Calendar view, drag the task to another column or day. You can also open the task and change its due date.
Why did my zombies move?
At midnight every zombie takes one step closer, because every task is now one day nearer to its due date. Tasks that pass their due date become overdue and start attacking your barricade.
How do I see all the task names in the Horde?
Press and hold anywhere on the horde.
How do I switch between Horde, Board and Calendar?
Use the view menu at the top of the screen. The app remembers the last view you used.
How do I turn the sound off?
Use the sound button in the Horde view, or put your iPhone on silent. The app follows the silent switch and won't stop your music.
Do my tasks sync between devices?
Not at the moment. Your tasks are stored only on your iPhone.
If I delete the app, will I lose my tasks?
Yes. All tasks are stored on your device only, so deleting the app deletes them. They can be restored from an iPhone backup if you have one.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login.
