Kim Petras brings things back to Europe where TiBB Shapes Music.
After Kim Petras gave Germany their first ever win in the eighteenth edition with her song "Icy", the contest moves back to Europe for the new year.
Big 6 Statistics
As the top 6 of the previous edition, Australia, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, United States, and Wales are the newest Big 6 and will automatically qualify for the final. In terms of times in the Big 6, this is the first time that Bulgaria, Germany, and Wales have been a part of the Big 6. Ireland are in the Big 6 for fourth time, and Australia and United States for the eighth time (twelfth time when counting the Big 5).
TiBB Shapes Kaleb Morfydd and Alma Tome.
The TBU Reference Group on 6 October 2025 announced that Delilah Crawford would leave the role of executive supervisor, and that then-current event supervisor Kaleb Morfydd would take over the role starting with the 19th edition. In the transition of roles, Alma Tome was promoted to event supervisor as well.
Siegfrids & Rakers
On 1 November 2025, it was announced that German journalist and entrepreneur Judith Rakers and Finnish singer and television host Krista Siegfrids would be the presenters of the nineteenth TiBB Music Festival. Siegfrids is no stranger to the TiBB Music Festival, having co-presented the fifteenth edition in her home country of Finland with Charlotte Asekomeh back in December 2024. Rakers on the other hand previously co-presented the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with Anke Engelke and Stefan Raab.
TiBB Shapes Düsseldorf
On 7 November 2025, it was announced that Düsseldorf would be the 17th city to play host to the TiBB Music Festival; as the Merkur Spiel-Arena was chosen as the venue for the contest.
One Show, No Separate Results
For the first time in TiBBMF history, there would not be separate recaps and results shows. This edition, there would be just one full-length show covering everything from the opening acts, to the competing songs, to intervals, and the voting results. The final runtime of the show is to be determined once all songs have been announced.
