A Day in Our Program

Our day begins with a family-style breakfast, where children enjoy a balanced meal together and practice independence and social skills. After cleaning up, washing hands, and bathroom time, children move into free play. During this time, we enjoy music through our Yoto player. We maintain a screen-free environment throughout the day, with the exception of occasional dance parties(30 min). Limiting screen time helps create a more active, engaging space that supports early childhood development.

We then gather for circle time and structured learning activities focused on kindergarten readiness, including letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Learning is incorporated throughout the day through hands-on, play-based experiences. Arts and crafts follow a monthly theme, and we incorporate sensory play to encourage exploration and creativity. 

Weather permitting, we spend time outdoors each day. If we stay inside, we enjoy a fun and active dance party.

Lunch is served family-style, followed by handwashing, brushing teeth, and nap time. After resting, children freshen up and enjoy an afternoon snack before playing freely until pick-up.

Our daily routine is designed to balance structure, creativity, movement, and rest — creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

At the end of each month, I send home a collection of your child’s artwork along with a newsletter recapping our learning themes and activities, so you can easily treasure their masterpieces.
