I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Building Facilities Engineering at Hanbat National University, Daejeon, Republic of Korea, appointed in March 2023. I lead the Thermal Innovation Laboratory (TI-Lab), currently supervising MS and PhD students, and serve as Principal Investigator on externally funded research projects including a National Research Foundation of Korea grant on passive cooling for data centers (2026–2029) and a KIER project on dynamic simulation of thermal energy storage systems (2025–2026). My research covers phase-change heat transfer, data center liquid and immersion cooling, and PINN-based digital twins for thermal systems, with 46 peer-reviewed journal publications. jhmoon9@hanbat.ac.kr, Google Scholar, ORCID
