Currently, I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at the University of Manitoba, with research interests in Applied Econometrics, Economics of Migration, International Trade, Machine Learning, and Regional Policy Economics. I am actively pursuing academic and research opportunities in the 2024-2025 job market.
My Ph.D. thesis, Reimagining Endogeneity in Trade and Migration: Using Shift-Share Instrumental Variables & Machine Learning, aims to advance these fields through innovative methodologies and data-driven insights.
In addition to my research, I have a strong passion for teaching. Since fall 2019, I have been actively teaching various courses at the University of Manitoba. The Faculty of Arts recognized my commitment to teaching excellence with the Teaching Excellence Award in 2022.
Outside of academia, I enjoy travelling and photography.
