I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Manitoba. My research interests include Applied Econometrics,  Economics of Migration, International Trade, Machine Learning, and Regional Policy Economics. I am actively pursuing academic and research opportunities in the 2024-2025 job market.

My Ph.D. thesis, "Reimagining Endogeneity in Trade and Migration: Using Shift-Share Instrumental Variables & Machine Learning," aims to advance these fields through innovative methodologies and data-driven insights.

In addition to my research, I have a strong passion for teaching. Since fall 2019, I have taught various courses at the University of Manitoba. The Faculty of Arts recognized my commitment to teaching excellence with the Teaching Excellence Award in 2022.

Outside of academia, I enjoy travelling and photography.
