"Through My Eyes (TME) is a youth-led initiative that empowers children, teens, and adults to share their emotional, mental, and identity journeys that are often overlooked in medical and personal settings through storytelling, creative expression, and peer connection.
I started this project because I’ve always believed that stories, especially the ones told through our own eyes, are powerful. Sometimes it’s hard to talk about big feelings, medical journeys, or life experiences when they feel different from others'. Every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
That’s why Through My Eyes exists: to create space where voices are heard, supported, and celebrated.
Whether it’s through handwritten letters, expressive drawings, or books about kids facing tough things, we’re building a platform that lets creativity turn into courage."
"One day, I hope this project grows into something that reaches children and adults in hospitals, schools, and communities everywhere.
A world where every young person feels brave enough to tell their story and know they are not alone.
This is only the beginning, and I’m so grateful you’re here."
