K.S.R. COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one among the TEN(10) departments functioning in K.S.R .College of Engineering. The department was started in the year 2005. The intake was subsequently increased to 180 in the year 2012 and 240 in the year 2013 The department has excellent infrastructure facilities, well qualified faculty and staff members. It is a recognized Research Centre of Anna University, Chennai. A post graduate degree course in Industrial Safety Engineering is being offered from the year 2011.

DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

The Mech Department was accredited for 2 years by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). With the able guidance of Principal Dr. P. Senthilkumar, M.E, Ph.D. (IITM), and Head of Department Dr.A.V.Balan, M.E., Ph.D and an excellent team of 23 faculty members, this department has achieved 3 Gold Medals and 22 University Ranks in the examination conducted by ANNA University.
