The symposium of this year, titled "Empowering Aging in Place Through Community Health Innovation for Asian Older Adults," examined strategies to promote health among community-dwelling older adults through living lab-driven digital health technologies, the development of age-friendly industries, and the translation of research into evidence-informed policy.
Professor Kyung Hee Lee delivered the presentation focused on caregiver burden in dementia care and employed multimodal monitoring approaches such as sweat patches, actigraphy, and survey instruments.
By analyzing the biological, psychological, and social determinants underlying caregiver burden, the presentation underscored the importance of developing tailored interventions to enhance care outcomes.
