This is one of my favorite thrifty tips! You're spending way more for your cell phone plan than you have to. What are you paying now? If I was a betting woman, I'd bet it's way more than $15 per month. How much does that add up to in a year?? If your area gets T-Mobile coverage, since Mint Mobile operates on their network you can cash in on the very best deal available!
What's the catch?
It's a prepaid plan. Some people might think that's "the catch" because you're paying up front for the service. BUT I was on a T-Mobile/MetroPCS prepaid Plan every month for 9 years. Most carriers offer a prepaid plan option. The only difference is with Mint Mobile you're buying either 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. The more months you buy, the more money you save. We started off with the 3 month plan and loved it so much we renewed for the 12-month plan. And that's what we'll do from now on.
Actually though, you have nothing to lose ... yes, you'll have to pay $45 upfront ... BUT you get 3 months of service for that price! What a deal!!

I discovered this amazing company Mint Mobile while endlessly shopping around for a better cell plan deal. A thrifty friend told me about Mint, she and her husband have been using it since 2019 (even in their travel trailers) and love it on their personal and business phones.
