Specializing in high-quality officiating camps for high school & college officials in WI and surrounding areas.
Three Zebras Officials Camp was officially launched in August 2000. The business started with basketball officials camps and specialized in training officials in 3-person officiating. The actual business started in 1998 under the original name of Competitive Edge Officials Camp. The first camp was at Wausau West HS. Three Zebras became the logical name choice to retain when the WIAA switched from two officials to three officials for all postseason officiating assignments; hence, the name Three Zebras remains in use today.
The business was founded by Brian Kenney and continues to grow and develop into a service-oriented officiating camp environment, focusing on creating a positive culture and climate that heavily emphasizes building strong connections and relationships.
The camps all include elements of professional development and learning (classroom instruction in person and virtual), on-the-court / field repetition, film review/breakdown, and most importantly, mentoring.
Brian Kenney is the owner of Three Zebras Officials Camp and he is very passionate about the idea of helping officials grow to become the best they can be in the sports of basketball and football. Brian is a current HS basketball and football official and he lives in Wisconsin Dells, WI. He has a favorite saying that really defines how he runs his business - "WHAT WE PERMIT, WE PROMOTE." Stay tuned to Brian's site for more information on upcoming basketball officiating camps in Wisconsin.
