This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Social Media Post Maker app ("PostAI", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use it on iPhone and iPad.
By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You do not create an account, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.
The app gives your device a random, anonymous user ID. It is stored in your device's Keychain so your history, pages and purchases can be restored if you reinstall the app. This ID is not linked to your real identity.
When you add a social media page, you may enter:
Page name and @handle
Short bio
Platforms (for example Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok)
Niche or topic tags and preferred tone of voice
Follower count and engagement level
A screenshot of your profile (optional)
We use this information to personalise your captions, hashtags and content ideas.
The screenshot stays on your device. Other profile details may be backed up to our servers so they can be restored after a reinstall.
The goal and challenges you choose during setup are stored on your device and used to personalise the app.
Your chosen goal is also sent to our analytics provider as a usage statistic.
We process the topics, descriptions, instructions and photos you submit to create captions, reels, stories, carousels or hashtags, along with the results we generate for you.
Posts you schedule are stored only on your device, and reminders are sent as local notifications.
The app never posts to your social media accounts for you.
When you tap Generate, your request is sent to our servers.
It includes:
Your text
Any photos you added
Details of the page you selected, such as page name, niche and tone
Our servers send this information to a third-party AI provider, OpenAI, to create the result.
Each generation is saved to your History on our servers and linked to your anonymous user ID, so you can see it again and restore it after a reinstall.
Our servers may remember useful details from your requests, such as your niche or writing style, to improve future results ("AI Memory").
You can review and delete this information in:
Settings → AI Memory
Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health, financial or government ID details, in your requests or photos.
AI-generated content can be inaccurate. Please check it before you publish it.
The app uses third-party services that may collect information under their own privacy policies.
Google AdMob shows ads, including rewarded video ads, to free users.
It may collect device and advertising identifiers, the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking, IP address and ad interactions.

Apple processes payments through the App Store.
We never receive your payment details.
If the app runs into an error, we and our service providers may collect diagnostic information such as:
IP address
Device model
Operating system version
App configuration
Time and date of the error
The app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt to ask your permission before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
If you allow tracking, AdMob and RevenueCat may use the identifier to measure ad campaigns and show more relevant ads.
If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using this identifier.
You can change your choice at any time in:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent message before any ads are requested.

Pro subscribers do not see ads.
We use information to:
Create and personalise content for your pages
Save, back up and restore your history and pages
Process and verify purchases and apply free-usage limits
Show ads to free users
Understand how the app is used, fix bugs and improve the app
Prevent abuse and keep the service secure
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your posts for advertising.
The app does not use cookies directly.
Third-party services in the app, such as Google AdMob, may use similar technologies as described in their own privacy policies.
History, AI Memory and any page backups are stored on our servers until you delete them or stop using the app.
Information stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
The anonymous user ID stays in your device's Keychain so your purchases and history can be restored.

This also deletes them from our servers.
Review and delete it in:

Deleting a page in the app also deletes any backup of it from our servers.

You may request a copy of, or deletion of, all data linked to your app.
Depending on where you live, for example the EU, UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to object to or restrict how we use it.
Contact us to use these rights. We will respond within 30 days.
All traffic between the app and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and every request is authorised with a short-lived access token.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.
Your information may be processed in those locations.
The app may contain links to other websites and apps, such as Instagram, Threads, TikTok or the App Store.
We do not operate these services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

The app is not intended for anyone under 13, or the minimum age required in your country.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time.

By downloading or using the AI Social Media Post Maker app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app uses artificial intelligence to help you create:
Social media captions
Reel and story scripts
Carousels
Hashtags
Content ideas
The app also provides reminders for when to post.
The app does not post to your social media accounts for you.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the app.
You keep ownership of the text, photos and page details you provide ("Input").
To the extent the law allows, you also own the content the app creates for you ("Output").
You allow us to process your Input and Output as needed to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and that your Input does not break any law or infringe anyone's rights.
Output is created automatically and may be:
Inaccurate
Unoriginal
Similar to content created for other users
Unsuitable for your purpose
You are responsible for reviewing Output before you use it.
You are also responsible for everything you publish, including following each social media platform's rules and any applicable advertising or disclosure laws.
You agree not to use the app to:
Create illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent content
Create spam, scams or misleading content, or pretend to be someone else
Infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights
Copy, reverse engineer or resell the app or its AI service, or get around usage limits
Attack, overload or interfere with our servers
We may limit or end your access if you break these rules.
Some features require a paid subscription or a one-time purchase.
Prices, renewal terms and any free trial are shown in the app before you buy.
Payments are charged to your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in:

Refunds are handled by Apple.
Free users receive a limited number of free generations and may see ads.
The app, its design, code, name, logos and trademarks belong to the developer of the app.
You may not copy, modify, translate or extract the source code of the app, or create derivative versions of it.
The app relies on third-party services, including:

RevenueCat
OpenAI
We are not responsible for their availability or practices.
Links that open Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook or other apps are subject to those platforms' own terms.
Some features require an internet connection.
We are not responsible if the app does not work fully without Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Your mobile provider's terms still apply, and you are responsible for any data or roaming charges.
We may update, change or remove features, or change prices, at any time.
You may need to install updates to keep using the app.
We may stop offering the app at any time.
If we do, your rights under these Terms end and you must stop using the app.
We will never charge you without clearly showing what you are paying for.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee any results, such as follower growth, reach or engagement.
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, followers or income, arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
These Terms are between you and the developer of the app, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer of the app is based, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
