Welcome to my Google Site about the thorny devil. This project is part of our Science and Technology unit on Adaptations. The thorny devil is an incredibly interesting Australian lizard. It has some amazing adaptations that helps it survive in the hot and arid desert regions of Australia and protect itself from predators. On this website you can learn some facts about the thorny devil, where it lives and its adaptations. There is also a page that documents the growth of a seed as part of our Adaptations unit. Enjoy learning about this magnificent and bizarre creature.
