All agreements relating to the teaching of sessions by Thornbury Basketball are subject to the terms and conditions on this webpage.
Payments to be made by bank transfer to the Club's account. The club is non profit; all the money goes towards managing the club, sports halls rental, equipment, insurance etc.
Thornbury Basketball may have to cancel sessions due to unforeseeable circumstances (such as staff illness, venue cancellation, force majeure).
Participation in or attendance of Thornbury Basketball sessions involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, serious personal and bodily injury, and property loss or damage. The parent/guardian understands, has considered and evaluated the nature, scope, and extent of the risks involved, and voluntarily and freely chooses to assume those risks on behalf of the named player.
Thornbury Basketball will not provide the players with any health, life, medical or liability insurance for any loss or damage that may arise in connection with participation in or attendance at the Club, apart from any direct and proven professional negligence administered by Thornbury Basketball.
In the event that Thornbury Basketball determines the behaviour of a player or parent/guardian to be unacceptable, Thornbury Basketball reserves the right to exclude the player from the Club permanently or for such a period as Thornbury Basketball will (in its entire discretion) determine. In the event of an exclusion of a player from the Club, on the grounds of unacceptable/abusive behaviour, all fees paid to the Club are non-refundable.
