At age 26, (Dec 27, 1980) I had just been honorably discharged from the United States Airforce and had my second attack of thoracic spine back pain that dropped me to the ground. I went to the VA hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Below is my treatment notes at the ER.
I worked in the Titan II Nuclear Missile complex as a launch crewmember from 1975-1979. The Titan II missiles were known to be way past their 10 year life span and were leaking UDMH fuel and NTO2 oxidizer into the complex where we lived for 24 to 48 hours per shift. Our water supply was also contaminated with TCE. the complex was also sprayed with agent orange for weed control.
