Our Story
My name is Teresa Thompson, my husband Mike and I live on a farm just north of Macksburg, IA. I retired from education after 30+ years in June of 2022 and decided to open a pumpkin patch. Last year we welcomed several visitors including school groups, daycare gathering and birthday parties. I partnered with local schools to give students authentic learning experiences. I love working outside and still being able to be involved in student learning.
I am excited for the upcoming fall. We again have a corn maze, sponsored by Holganix, a trailer ride to a 4.5 acre "pick your own" patch a jump pad and other small attractions. Food trucks are ready to go and our selection of merchandise and baked goods are growing daily. I am excited to have so much more to offer this fall. Hope to see you at the farm!

Fall Family Fun!!!
Our goal is to provide a fun place for families to enjoy a day on the farm. This fall you will see new areas in the dramatic play town and the farm store will continue to provide more items from local small businesses. Our store also has a variety of snacks, drinks and fresh baked goods available for purchase. We are small enough that you can sit and enjoy a free cup or coffee or cider while your children play. Your admission covers all activities. Come take a walk through the Holganix corn maze, take a ride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin and feed the goats.
