TEACHING

I regularly teach three distinct courses in US Economic History (recent syllabi linked):

• Econ 1740: US Economic History, which is aimed at non-majors, but frequently attracts students into our program

• Econ 5470: Industrialization and Economic Development: The American Case, our main US economic history course for undergraduate majors (I've recently been teaching this online), and

• Econ 7400: Economic History I, which serves as a field elective as well as a "methods" course in the doctoral program

The other courses I teach include

• Econ 2010: Principles of Microeconomics

• Econ/Poli Sci 2500: The United States of Inequality - This is an interdisciplinary course taught with faculty from Political Science and aimed at introducing new college students to the ways in which various social sciences analyze inequality and related topics.

• Econ 3100:  Labor Economics

• Econ 4010:  Intermediate Microeconomic Analysis

• Econ 5140:  Discrimination in the Labor Market

• Econ 6610:  Microeconomics for Master's Students
