TEACHING
I regularly teach three distinct courses in US Economic History (recent syllabi linked):
Econ 1740: US Economic History, which is aimed at non-majors, but frequently attracts students into our program
Econ 5470: Industrialization and Economic Development: The American Case, our main US economic history course for undergraduate majors (I've recently been teaching this online), and
Econ 7400: Economic History I, which serves as a field elective as well as a "methods" course in the doctoral program
The other courses I teach include
Econ/Poli Sci 2500: The United States of Inequality - This is an interdisciplinary course taught with faculty from Political Science and aimed at introducing new college students to the ways in which various social sciences analyze inequality and related topics.
