I am a pediatric intensivist who recently completed my fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. I earned my medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed pediatrics residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center.

Before medical training, I was a high school teacher and coach in Meridian, MS with the Mississippi Teacher Corps, a program that places teachers in critical-need Title I districts in Mississippi. My time in and out of the classroom with students in the Deep South has served as the foundation for my approach to clinical care and my passion for health equity.
