Hi! I am a recent graduate from Grinnell College with my bachelors degree in economics and computer science. At Grinnell, I was the captain of the track and field team where I ran the 200 and 400. I am interested in data and our ability to analyze it. Data analysis is crucial, but the person doing the analysis is even more important as there can be many ways to analyze data.
I am passionate about economics because of how interdisciplinary it is. Finance always stood out as an interesting field to me because of its presence in everyone's life. Looking into market data has been particularly interesting becasue of how investor behavior can sway the market.
Computer science is everything I have ever loved. I see programming as one big problem that can have several solutions. However, it was also the math and proofs that have kept me most satisfied in my CS degree.
In addition to my majors and sport, I am an avid crossword puzzle attempter. I try to complete the New York Times mini everyday. I also love Wordle. I have made those a part of my morning routine because I enjoy a quick activity to get my brain thinking.
