Call 911, even if you’re not sure it’s an emergency. The more we remind them we’re here, the more they patrol and keep us safe. If you know it’s not an emergency but still want to call them, their non-emergency number is: (413) 448-9700. Suspicious activity should also be reported to the TIA (which we do already) to be sure that neighbors are made situationally aware as quickly as possible.
Residents and their guests may use the end of Thomas Road (all season access allowed) for recreational activity (e.g., fishing, swimming, and launching, etc.). Airbnb properties and rental properties customarily tell their visitors and guests that they can put kayaks in at the end of Thomas Road.

There are a few ways to reach members directly. You can email us directly (thomas.island.association@gmail.com) with what you're looking for and we can send out a communication to the island. Also, we are putting together a member list that we working on being able to share so you can reach out to the group or each indvidual as you need.
Also, we recommend signing up for Next Door (https://nextdoor.com). You can post stuff that will be seen by other TI residents and adjoining communities. If your topic is specific to TI residents you're best off emailing us directly.

There are a few ways to contact the city, one is: www.cityofpittsfield.org, the other, and often most productive, is by downloading the Pittsmart app. There you can take a photo of the issue(s) you see and send them directly to the relevant department at City Hall. We highly recommend this for most municipal issues.
Check out what we do.
