Thomas Chouteau

Post-doctoral student at Universidade de São Paulo, campus de São Carlos, ICMC,

visiting Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Departamento de Matemáticas .

I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at USP, having been awarded a two-year FAPESP post-doctoral and a one-year BEPE fellowships.

Before that, I did my PhD at the University of Angers, under the supervision of Mattia Cafasso (LAREMA). After defending my thesis, I worked as a Temporary Lecturer and Research Assistant at the math department of the University of Angers (France) for half a year.

I am interested in mathematical physics at the interface between probabilistic models and integrable systems. More specifically, my work focuses on determinantal point processes, orthogonal polynomials, Riemann-Hilbert problem, integrable equations, random partitions, and  random matrices.
