Hello!
Welcome to my homepage. I am a Development Economist, currently working as an Associate Research Fellow (ARF) at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). I joined IFPRI from a postdoctoral program at the University of Georgia (UGA). Additionally, I have worked as a consultant for the World Bank and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), contributing to various international development projects. My doctoral research focused on evaluating a large-scale chemical fertilizer promotion program in Ethiopia and examining behavioral interventions aimed at altering gender norms to facilitate equitable male participation in household and childcare duties. In my previous postdoctoral program, administered by Tufts University, I innovated and validated phone-based methods for collecting dietary data at high frequencies. My current work involves understanding the complex relationship between behavioral and technical constraints to rural farmers' technology adoption decisions and their impact on production, productivity, welfare, and broader outcomes.
