I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Dresden University of Technology, Germany (2011), in the area of instability and transition to turbulence in MHD flows.
As a post-doctoral researcher at Helmholtz-Centre Dresden-Rossendorf, Germany, I applied both experimental and numerical techniques to study and control dynamics of separated flows around wings. I also developed methods for contactless force measurement.
In 2014, I joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University, where I conduct experimental and numerical research on rotating flows relevant to geo- and astrophysics, weather prediction, and turbomachinery.
