I am a PhD student in Mathematics at the University of California, Davis.

My main research interest is quantum statistical mechanics of lattice spin systems. My advisor is Bruno Nachtergaele and throughout my time in the PhD program at Davis we have worked on proving macroscopic properties of AKLT ground states on various graphs. This includes proofs of local topological quantum order for the hexagonal lattice AKLT model and proofs of long range order in certain trees and treelike graphs.
