I am a Heilbronn Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester. My research sits at the intersection of semigroup theory, combinatorics, and universal algebra, with a particular focus on tropical matrix monoids and plactic-like monoids.

I hold a PhD in Pure Mathematics (2023) from the University of Manchester supervised by Mark Kambites and Marianne Johnson, and MMath in Mathematics (2019) from the University of York. Prior to my current role, I held an LMS Early Career Fellowship at NOVA University Lisbon in 2023.

My office is located at 1.218 in the Alan Turing Building.
