Thomas attended Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2015 to 2020, earning a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in game development and a BA in Mathematics in May of 2019 and a MS in Computer Science in 2020.
He has always had a desire to entertain others, as well as a passion for programming since taking his first programming classes in high school. This was when he was first introduced to C++ and Java.
In college, he was introduced to C#, among other languages, furthered his education in C++ and Java, and learned to use Unity and Unreal Engine.
Thomas' love for games started when he was young. He was drawn to games such as Pokemon Yellow (and the following main series Pokemon games), Donkey Kong 64, The The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Banjo Kazooie. The ability to explore a world, interact with characters and solve puzzles was a big draw to him. Another place of inspiration for Thomas was the introduction of Chess. The strategy and mindset required for Chess was a challenge he was willing to accept going on to play on his high school Varsity Chess team his senior year. He brought home many wins for his team, helping the team reach the playoffs in their district. Playing chess was also a good foundation for his problem solving and logic skills.
Today, some of his favorite games are built off of some of his initial favorites. The exploration of the Pokemon games along with knowing the stats, abilities, and moves of other Pokemon, the different type match-ups and prediction strategy of Pokemon is a big test for him. Other strategy games such as Starcraft II and Stellaris which require lots of planning and micro management of various resources, as well as knowledge of other strategies. The open world exploration of games, such as, World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild .
