Hi! I am Thomas Caussade, and I am a current PhD student at UCL working with David Hewett.

Before arriving in the UK, I studied at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) where I received my Professional Degree in Mathematical Engineering. I also worked with Carlos Pérez-Arancibia and received my MSc degree at the same time in January 2023. You can find my complete CV here

My research area lies in the design of numerical methods as a tool to be used towards real-world applications. In particular, I'm interested in numerical analysis, PDE analysis, and scientific computing topics, related to acoustic or electromagnetic wave propagation problems. I am also enthusiastic about teaching! For a list of courses, see here
