Thomas Aloysius O'Hare

I am an RTG Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University. I started at Northwestern in September 2025.

Prior to coming to Northwestern, I did my Ph.D. at the Ohio State University's mathematics department working with Andrey Gogolev. My primary area of interest is dynamical systems; in particular, I am interested in the rigidity theory of smooth systems with at least some hyperbolicity. My work to date has been to establish novel quantitative rigidity theorems for low-dimensional hyperbolic systems.
